Another sign it’s spring!

albnestbig.jpgSince 1983 there’s been an effort to protect and encourage the peregrine falcon population in our area.  I saw something in the paper, which reminded me I could check on the Dunn Memorial Bridge nesting location via a webcam on the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation’s website.  As you can see from the video capture to the right (from 6:04 pm today), there are presently 4 chicks and an unhatched egg with one of the parents in attendance.
