Tim just left the house for his last day of high school, final paper on the economics of the music industry in the 1940s and 1950s in hand. The class work is done, the last exam taken yesterday. There are band rehearsals to attend, but he doesn’t think of that as “school” – that’s where his friends are and he’s doing what he loves.
The coming week+ is chock full of graduation events, it’s simply amazing what we’re going to fit in with “normal life” (what is normal life?):
- May 14 – Mother’s Day Review (a uniquely CBA event)
- May 16 – Baccalaureate Mass
- May 17 – Combined graduation party for Tim and 16th birthday party for Cathie (this is when family starts arriving)
- May 18 – Graduation
- May 20 – CBA Spring Concert, at the Hart Theater of The Egg at the Empire State Plaza
I think that’s all of them… there are only 2 days free in that stretch!
